Following a few too many years in college, I entered the advertising business in 1986 starting out as a junior account executive for a San Diego advertising agency. It was never really as glamorous as depicted on “Mad Men”, but let’s face it, that was two decades prior. Later, I spent close to seven years at Time Incorporated selling magazine space for Sports Illustrated for Kids, before leaving in 1997 to pursue the new media craze that swept through the ad business in the late 1990’s.
After close to four years, the euphoria that was the Internet business wore off and I looked around for a career that I could be passionate about for the long term, or as a good friend of mine once said, "find a job that is one of your hobbies". It did not take long for me to decide on real estate as that career change, and in 2001 I hit the ground running.
I spent a short amount of time at DBL here in Los Angeles before joining Mossler Deasy & Doe, which is currently operating as Crosby Doe Associates. For eight years I had the fortune to be mentored under Crosby Doe, arguably the preeminent expert in the sale of architectural properties in Southern California. It is with that experience that I formed the Red X Team at Keller Williams Realty. You might say that I bring with me a bachelor’s in real estate with an emphasis in architecture.
Anyone who works with me knows that my clients are my absolute top priority in this business. Always. Without question. Growth in this business, and really any business for that matter, can only be achieved through strong client relationships and I would give all of this up in a heartbeat if I ever lost the passion to serve my clients.
I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and have lived in Los Angeles for the past 10 years. I share my life with my wife Scotti and our two whippets named Slim and Willow and our two cats, Oscar and Frank.
